Creating connections

The Samuel Centre for Social Connectedness (SCSC) is a non-profit centre for research and advocacy dedicated to overcoming social isolation and building social connectedness. Their mission is to build connectedness within and between communities through partnerships, research, programming, learning initiatives, and advocacy.

We worked with SCSC to redesign, develop and launch a responsive and accessible website for their 2019 Global Symposium in Toronto. The updated site included migrating over 400 articles from the previous website, evolving the look and feel to reflect their new brand identity, and building out a back end experience in WordPress that would make it easier for their communications team to author articles, and post content and photos on a regular basis.

In addition to overseeing the UX, web design and development, our team provided art direction for photography, curated visual assets, consulted on a revised copy deck and content authored the site prior to launch. And all of this in three months!
